S2E Managing Director and Business Architecture Industry Leader, Whynde Kuehn, address how business architecture is increasingly being recognized as a key enabler of strategy execution by organizations, industry associations — and even within academia. The benefits of helping organizations with effective end-to-end strategy execution and alignment not only bridges a unique and important gap but can also bring new relevance to the entire enterprise architecture team as well as enhance our collaboration.
In this workshop, we will first discuss strategy execution challenges and opportunities. We will then consider an end-to-end perspective on strategy execution, including architecture’s critical enabling role, along with how various teams and people with different strengths partner across it. We will work with a few techniques that provide good starting points for architecture to help with strategy translation, alignment from strategy through initiatives, and investment decision-making. Finally, we will discuss practical ways to move into action and introduce these concepts to organizations.
